All Hail The Hall
By Thomas • Feb 17th, 2006 • Category: VenuesHave you seen where we’re going to be performing? You really should. And you can.
Built in 1842, Barrington Hall was home to Roswell’s co-founder, Barrington King. The other co-founder? His father, Roswell King. The Hall stayed in the King family until 2002. Listed in bother the National Register of Historic Places and recently included in Atlanta magazine’s list of the 50 Most Beautiful Homes in Metro Atlanta, Barrington Hall is an genuine asset to our community.
And so, we couldn’t ask for a matter venue. Our plan for Love’s Labour’s Lost is to take advantage of the regal architectural staging found in the two back porches, as well as the expanse of green that stretches to the well beyond. In the fall, we have our sights set on the front of the building, as the ante-bellum columns and huge shadowy trees align perfectly with our in-progress-plans for staging a dark, tragic tale of political intrigue.
In the meantime, take time out of your busy schedule and view the beauty inside the Hall, then come back in May for a night of Shakespeare outside the Hall.
