Spring 2011: The Taming of the Shrew
Mark your calendar now! NFDC is proud to announce our Spring 2011 production of William Shakespeare’s classic depiction of the battle of the sexes, The Taming of the Shrew. Set in 1968, this turbulent era of social unrest acts as a backdrop for the many conflicts found in the play. Can Katherine prove to the simple-minded men of Padua that women deserve the equality she so adamantly desires? Can the idealistic youth outsmart their “set-in-their-ways” elders? Come join us on the lawn in May for another amazing night with NFDC to find out
