Possibly Asked Questions:
How do I get tickets?
As before, there are no tickets. Our shows are open to the public. However, table reservations (and catering for those tables) are available. Visit our Virtual Box Office to find out more.
How much are tickets?
Like we said, there are no tickets. Our shows are free. However, if you wish to contribute to the success of this and subsequent productions, we will be accepting table reservations via this website and accepting donations at the venue.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Not necessary. The grounds will be open to arriving patrons beginning at 7:30pm. The invisible curtain will rise on Midsummer at approximately 8:30pm. So, the earlier you can arrive, the better your choice of available lawnspace. Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets or small tarps for seating and picnic dinners for eating, as well as sweaters, since the temperature does drop after dark. If you choose to bring a lawnchair, please choose a seat farther back for the comfort of patrons seated on the ground. Low-slung lawn chairs may be seated further forward, but please be conscious of other patrons.
Our reserved tables will be to the left and right of the main seating area.
(Did you hear that we know have table reservations? We do.)
What about parking?
The City of Roswell has mandated that parking will begin behind the blue barn at Barrington. Parking actually *in* the main parking lot will be prohibited except for cast members and crew. Once the area behind the barn fills, you will be directed elsewhere to park. We are told that there is parking available at the square, which is well within reasonable walking distance.
So this is an outdoor production?
Yes. Right on the back lawn of Barrington Hall.
What happens if it rains?
If it rains prior to curtain, then we will proceed with the show, delayed only to make up for lost prep time. If it rains during the show, then we will hold and determine if we are dealing with a small shower or something larger.
In the end, weather is the one great unknown of outdoor theatre. We are beholden to it, but we will make our best effort to carry on.
