Spring Auditions for 2007!

Much Ado About NothingIn February, North Fulton Drama Club will be holding open, Non-Equity auditions for a new production of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Rehearsals will begin in March and the show will debut on Friday, May 4, 2007 and run for two weekends, including a Sunday matinee.

When?
Auditions for Much Ado will be held on Monday, February 19th and Tuesday, February 20th. Callbacks will be held on Thursday, February 22nd. We will begin at approximately 6:30pm and run until we are done, but hopefully no later than 9 or 9:30pm.

As mentioned above, the show dates are May 4, 5 and 11, 12 for evening shows, 6 for Sunday matinee.

Who will we need?

  • 1 Man (age 35 to 50+)
  • 5 Men (age 25 to 40+)
  • 1 Man (age 16+ to 25)
  • 5 Women (age 25 to 40+)
  • 1 Woman (age 16+ to 25)
  • 1 Either (age 16+ to 25)
  • 3 Either (age 25 to 40+)

Actors should come prepared to perform cold-readings from provided scripts. Monologues, particularly Shakespearean, are appreciated, but not required. Headshots and theatre resumes are appreciated, but not required. Actors with singing voices should come prepared to sing a short piece without accompaniment.

Where?

The Blue Barn.Auditions will be held on the property of Barrington Hall in Roswell, Georgia. The Hall is located at 535 Barrington Drive, on the south side of the Historic Roswell Square, near the intersection of GA Hwy 120 and GA Hwy 9. Simply pull into the parking lot of Barrington Hall, then follow the signs. The auditions will be held in the blue barn-esque building around back, not in the Hall itself.
